Lodging
Louisville offers unique hometown accommodations as well as hotels operated by several national chains. Lake Tiak O’Khata is a lakeside resort offering motel rooms in addition to cabins and RV parking. The Mason Boutique Hotel is the newest addition offering a luxurious stay in downtown Louisville. For a more rustic lodging experience, cabins are available at nearby Legion State Park.
Outdoors
For those who love the great outdoors, Winston County offers a variety of leisure activities whether you are here on vacation or just looking for a day of fun. The 48,000-acre Noxubee Wildlife Refuge just north of Louisville is a national treasure with its blend of beautiful woodlands and lakes and its wide array of wildlife. Legion State Park offers a visitor’s center, playground, cabins, trails, picnic areas, camping areas, and a lake. In the heart of Louisville, Ivy Park provides ball fields, tennis courts, a splash pad, playground and a walking track. In Noxapater, the J.W. Young/Mollie Estes Park features a unique arboretum and a teaching area for forestry.
